Presiding Elder – Valley South
Rev. David Lowe began his formal ministry in 2010 in Hoover, Alabama, where he was licensed as a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. Over the years, he has served in various roles—from football chaplain at Spain Park High School to teaching Sunday School and leading worship—always driven by a passion for preaching, teaching, and discipleship.
David holds degrees from Wake Forest University (B.A. in History), Indiana Wesleyan University (M.S. in Management), and United Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). He currently serves as the lead pastor of Cedar Hill Global Methodist Church in Wytheville, Virginia.
A lifelong advocate for rural and bi-vocational ministry, David is deeply committed to equipping lay leaders and helping local churches thrive, regardless of size or resources. He draws inspiration from John Wesley's vision of a Spirit-filled, lay-led movement and believes deeply in the transformative power of the gospel to reach every corner of the world.
David is married to his wife Kim, and they have two adult daughters: Dr. Alister Mann (married to Bradley Mann) and Amanda Lowe.
